Saturday 22nd November

Congratulation to Georgina Siviter, whose cream Point Boy, 'Duffy'    Simplisiam Special  Mention, got his  first and Best of Breed at the Supreme, apparently his  judges' critique is excellent. thank you Georgina for showing him so well.

Tuesday 21 October

We were planning on taking Selene to the Yorkshire show on Saturday but sadly  we have decided against this as courtesy of her sister Hannah, Selene now has a small war wound from rough play. However I will still be attending the show, as it is one of my favourites and I  have promised to be a show buddy for some new exhibitors.

Monday 13th  October

Selene and Hannah our two new seal point girls are settling in well. Our own kittens are just coming up to  six weeks old this  week and as one excited  prospective mum told me, "they are half way there now "  which  gave me a start, where does the time go. I  am just getting to know them  properly I had not thought that far in front yet although it is lovely that new owners can now start to visit.

21st September

We are delighted to say, at the Scotia Show yesterday,  our own bred Champion  Simplisiam Starta Rumour was awarded the Best of  Breed, her first Premier Certificate and a first place in all her classes, a great  red card day.  Well done Rumour and of course her owner Gaynor, Thanks Gaynor for showing her so well and for  keeping me up to date as always.

A  few days spent on a web site make over, I am still catching up with myself.  one or two pages have yet to be completed with  new photo's and text.

I  have now updated the kitten diary, after a fraught few days with Mab, thankfully things have now calmed down.

I am still writing my regular feature, Mother Nature's Remedies based on homeopathy, for the cat paper, 'Our Cats' though I  do  have a welcome break now and again when the  G.C.C.F  need multiple pages for their announcements.

I am  currently  just about half way through the intense course on Herbal Medicine, exams and  research  are keeping me fairly busy

We are looking forward to next  week end when will go to collect our two new kittens, Selene and Hannah form Tom and Rosemary Cassar Simmonds.

We are not showing at the moment but we are going over to the North West Show next Saturday for a couple of hours in the afternoon and we are looking forward to  catching up with long distance friends.

12th July

Christine has passed her latest exams for the Diploma in Women's Health and Homeopathy,  an excellent course to take,  covering every problem likely to affect women, amongst  other things, reproduction and aging. Although there was a lot of grumbling that she is never going to take two lengthy courses at the same time again.

Guess what  -  she has started another....

2nd June

Christine has passed her final exams for the Bach Flower course and is now a qualified Bach Flower General Practitioner.  The next step is  to train as a  Medical Herbalist, this in conjunction with the Homeopathy and the Bach Flower treatments will  give so much more scope to find the very best suited remedies.

21st May

Our sincere apologies to everyone who checks on our kitten page, or is expecting an email from us,  we have been forced off line for nearly two weeks due to a lightning strike, wiping out the pc, phone lines and most importantly closing down ' Sky ' during a certain football match. On a brighter note, no one was hurt though Chris  was very close, we have now fitted circuit breakers and would advise everyone to do the same.

3rd May

We are delighted to say that a beautiful Lilac Point boy we bred in our last litter of  kittens, born 6th June 2006 Simplisiam Smooth Talker was awarded his 5th Imperial Grand Certificate today at the Manchester Show, 'Sonny' is now officially Imperial Grand Champion Simplisiam Smooth Talker and aged fifteen months old, we are so proud of this lovely lad and we thank our friends, his owners Helen and Alan Linklater for the love, the care and the constant attention they give him
